Learning Programs

Group-based experiential classes, workshops, and trainings take development to a whole new level. Expand adaptive leadership capabilities, refine expertise, and increase your capacity to navigate uncertainty and ambiguity. Learn and grow with a cohort of peers while building an ongoing support network that can last well beyond the duration of any given program.   • My clients are leaders and organizations seeking to up-level their capabilities and capacities to lead. Anyone with a learning mindset, a committed desire to grow, and a willingness to challenge old patterns of behavior can benefit. Typically programs are provided to a cohort of individuals within a particular organization, though some programs are available to anyone to enroll.

  • The programs I deliver are developmental in nature, and aimed at enhancing adaptive capabilities and mindsets. Specific subject matter varies from program to program and is often tailored to meet specific organizational needs. With that said, nearly all programs tend to:

    • Expand participants’ awareness of what is possible while also expanding their toolkit for tackling the challenges before them

    • Connect and deepen connections between participants, creating a network of support that can endure well beyond the duration of the program

    • Increase both clarity and adaptability in the face of ambiguity and uncertainty

    • Increase senses of calm, ease, and resourcefulness - and tools to sustain these states well beyond the program

  • Any currently available and existing open-enrollment programs will be listed here, and you may sign up accordingly.

    More typically, my programs are tailored to specific learning needs for you, your team, or your organization. We will partner to better understand your needs, budget, timing, and other constraints in order to design and deliver a program that meets your needs. Depending on the size of the engagement, I may bring in additional design and/or facilitation support from within my trusted network of learning professionals.

  • My programs are experiential in nature. This means participants will be engaged and directly involved in activities designed to help them make sense of challenges, understand what is possible, shift their mindsets, and expand their range of possible actions and responses. More emphasis is placed on these types of activities than on lecturing or instruction.

    While I take programmatic content extremely seriously, fun, openness, generosity, and flexibility are hallmarks of my programs. I strive for low participant-to-facilitator ratios, and find ways to make direct coaching from facilitators available. Often, we maximize ongoing learning support by empowering participants to self-organize into learning or coaching groups.

    Program content tends to be adaptive in nature which often requires participants to change or learn new behaviors. Behavior change does not happen overnight or in just one workshop. Sustained practice is a key ingredient for success. I work with my clients to find ways to make ongoing practice for participants a reality.
