Hi, I’m Arthur.
I have over 20 years of industry experience in leadership and people development, primarily in the technology and nonprofit sectors. In 2023, I concluded 13 years of employment at the Wikimedia Foundation (the nonprofit that powers Wikipedia and similar projects) as Director of Learning and Development in order to start my own coaching and consulting business. I began my career as a software engineer but eventually realized that people challenges were much more interesting to me than technical challenges. Over my career, I have developed a profound passion for empowering leaders, teams, and organizations to navigate complex challenges and achieve incredible outcomes.
Deep listening, presence, and compassion are my superpowers. I seek to connect with others in a way where we are both seen and heard as fully as possible. That space of connection is sacred, and allows us to be much more than just You and Me. The We that emerges is its own living, breathing entity that we get to be a part of together. In this space, we are able to tap into and connect with deep fundamental truths - those that unite and bind us as a species and make us inseparable from the entirety of the universe. When we connect in this way, we unblock and unlock ourselves; profound transformation is no longer just possible, it is inevitable.
I live in Bend, Oregon in the Pacific Northwest of the United States of America with my incredible wife and two dogs. My true home is in the outdoors where I love to spend time hiking and skiing in the mountains. From the above, you may have already guessed that spirituality is important to me; I study and practice Buddhist dharma, and nature is my church. I am a cis-gendered male and identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community; my pronouns are he/him. My services are oriented toward and inclusive to all who have an open heart, an open mind, and cultivate curiosity and respect for others.
